The Chaotix find themselves working WITH the Legion against Freedom Fighters. However, those Legion are under the Baron, Bunnie’s uncle, and the Freedom Fighters are the Sand Blast goons. Can Ray help Mighty reach through to Matilda in time?
What they got right: Aside from the usual, Ray’s impassioned speech to Matilda tells you everything you need to know about Ray the Squirrel. Nice action moments, too.
What they got wrong: I don’t know a lot about speech impediments, or why Ray stutters when he talks, but if he had lost that for his comments to Matilda I think it would have really shown how passionate he was that he broke his own stuttering…if only for a while. I thought it was shyness, but it might be something else. I may be wrong, but if I have to stretch to put something here, that’s all I’ve got.
Recommendation: A good end to the arc, also dubbed “Chaotix Quest” on the cover. Definitely worth getting.
