Sorry, folks. Odd work week and especially today and tomorrow not a lot of writing time.
OK, so we all know that Disney’s Hercules takes a few liberties with the myth. OK, a whole stinking lot of liberties. And maybe you heard that The Little Mermaid didn’t end quite as happily for Ariel, Quasimodo, or Tarzan in the original books. But what about The Jungle Book or The Fox & The Hound (which I didn’t even know WAS a story first)? 7 Classic Disney Movies Based On R-Rated Stories shows how un-kid friendly the original stories actually were. Tell me kids can handle that and I’ll call you a liar or an idiot.
