Peevy has a spare rocket pack for Cliff, although some adjustments are going to be needed. Cliff gets his wallet back and the identity of the narrator is revealed. I think. Meanwhile, Betty tries to dig deeper and gets found out…and introduced to Lowcraft’s horror.
What they got right: Yeah, “Lowcraftian horror”. Good pun that I wait to see actually said. While not a lot of action takes place there are some fun moments that keep the story interesting in preparation for the finale next issue.
What they got wrong: I’m not sure the narrator’s addition makes sense. Yeah, that’s all I’ve got. While Cliff testing the new rocket pack was a fun scene, there were no Best Scene standouts.
Recommendation: If you’ve been collecting the story this long, don’t stop now. If not, wait for the trade or get the first two issues first. It’s a good story.
