The Doctor and Alexey make it back to the TARDIS, but so have the Vashta Nerada–and they want to breed on Earth!
What they got right: The Doctor and Alexey make a good team. It’s almost a shame Alexey didn’t get to stay on as a Companion. There aren’t that many Russian Companion. Seeing the inside we see this is the TARDIS that Amy and Rory would hang out in.
What they got wrong: But a name drop of the Williamses might have helped further cement the point in the series this story takes place. Also the story seems short. With smaller panels this would have fit one issue with no trouble. This was more like a story you’d see in the annual anthology. As it stands, nothing jumped at me for a Best Scene nomination.
Recommendation: A fair use of the Vashta Nerada, whom I still don’t care about. I enjoyed it and is worth a read.
