Sonic The Hedgehog #248
Archie Comics (June, 2013)
When Worlds Collide part 3 “No Holds Barred” WRITER: Ian Flynn PENCILER: Jamal Peppers INKER: Jim Amash COLORIST: Matt Herms LETTERER: John Workman SELECTED COVER ART: Patrick “Spaz” Spaziante” & Matt Herms ASSISTANT EDITOR: Vincent Lovallo EDITOR: Paul Kaminski
(continued from Sonic Universe #51)It’s a big Sonic/Mega Man battle, but Doctor Light is working on his end and the Blue Bomber may yet gain an advantage on the Blue Blur…after getting his metal posterior kicked. (continued in Mega Man #25)
What they got right: If you’re going to have an all-fight story you’d better make it look good–and if you want to impress me with a hero versus hero fight even more so. Luckily it does deliver. We also get a moment that shows even Proto Man can’t stand up to Roll. 🙂
What they got wrong: The next issue is going to be the same thing on Mega Man’s turf? I hope not because I’m ready for the hero team-up. But that could be me.
Recommended: Still enjoying this crossover. Get to buying.
And for the record, I didn’t get the Free Comic Book Day offering because it was just reprints of the set-up issues of Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man, or at least the pre-Genesis Wave moment (or maybe post, I just leafed through it).

FCBD issue was just reprints of the second half of Mega Man #23 and Sonic #247, but there was a nice 2 page pin-up of the Mega Man #24 cover in the center.
