Snarl and Sludge confront the Insecticons but they aren’t responsible. Which doesn’t stop Sludge from finishing off Kickback. Together with Firestar, the two Dinobots learn the real killer’s identity but can they stop him and will Sludge be welcome back by Grimlock either way?
What they got right: While not a deep mystery it was still a pretty good one. We get a tidbit of Sludge’s backstory. The artwork was incredible.
What they got wrong: Why did Kickback talk like Shrapnel? Did I get it wrong last issue?
Recommendation: Finally, this looks like a Transformer series I can promote. The art is great, the characters interesting, we get our fights. If you’ve been put off by the other Transformers comics IDW is putting out, as I have, give this one a try. You may find one worth reading.
