While watching TV Sunday night I stumbled upon this collection of film school shorts on PBS and one of them intrigued me enough to to share it with BW reader. The Girl and the Fox is a traditional hand-drawn short in which a girl goes after the fox that killed her chicken (at least I think that’s what it was…could have been a turkey) and gets a surprise for her troubles.
I kept waiting for the fox’s own family to show up at the end, but this works, too. Base 14’s YouTube page has a few more animations and some tutorials for how they make their animated productions, like the video below.
