The Somnians are gone, but not without leaving a “goodbye” for the Cylons as the humans come out of it. Oblivious to these events, Starbuck and Boomer arrive on the prison barge and during a fight with the rogue guards, one turns against them, leaving Kolis to attempt an escape with Baltar. In the firefight an explosion claims either Kolis or Baltar as the other escapes, but which is which? Back on the Battlestar, a memory scanning machine is used to find traces of the being that inhabited Adama’s mind, finding Apollo’s location. Starbuck and Boomer head to hopefully rescue their friend, as the surviving Cylons make their own friend.

What they got right: The memory-scanning machine is a device that goes over Adama’s head. He’s still unconscious but it’s less silly than the one Marvel used. A new threat is set-up and the storyline leads into the “Search For Sanctuary” comic.

What they got wrong: Who was this being that invaded Adama’s head? Never explained. I also don’t know why they didn’t just continue with issue #6 instead of this new series, which will lead into a new “season” comic.

Recommendation: Thus far the Realm Press run has been my favorite, art style aside. It’s well worth looking into. This issue is a wrap-up of the current arc and the set-up for the next one so this may not be the comic to start on.
