Against their better instincts, the Warriors start setting up for starting a new colony, and Sire Obob convinces the Council that they should go down to host a celebration. However, they aren’t prepared for the locals, including the one who made its way onto the Galactica. Meanwhile, Cassiopeia confronts Athena about her date with Starbuck, Lucifer continues to scheme, and Baltar doesn’t realize he’s being used as bait for his new “friends” to capture both the Cylons and humans.
What they got right: I like the idea of the Apshaidians. They’re like an organic version of the Borg, “reproducing” by turning other races into Apshaidians. And of course the Council is going to get everybody killed, which is what I remember from the show.
What they got wrong: What I don’t remember is a potential Athena/Starbuck/Cassiopeia love triangle beyond the pilot. And we have yet another story as the Cylons come across “the ancient enemy” and Jolly making contact with them. How many more plots and subplots are we going to have?
Recommendation: It’s still the best continuation of the classic TV show to hit comics, so if your a fan keep an eye out.
