Still less stupid than the Ultimate version being almost literally one huge brain.

I don’t understand why they thought making Tony adopted made sense. My theory is that they’re running out of ideas or someone wanted to be part of the origin tellers (he who writes the origin has the power) or both. I’m not bothered by it, but I still find it as stupid as when DC decided Zeus was actually Diana’s birth father.

  • The Clutter Reports: The true end of Battletech Week ends not here but on my other site, with a review of the 1st Somerset Strikers sourcebook. I don’t play Battletech but I did enjoy the show and this book served as a reference for the show as well as turning it into campaigns for the game.
  • Reviewers Unknown: I didn’t realize that I didn’t bring over any Sing Me A Story articles over to RU. So instead of the one I posted here this week, I introduced them to Mac The Knife, a song with an origin I didn’t know about, but doesn’t make me less comfortable about a bouncy tune about a serial killer.

Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye #21

Sadly, Cyclonus was only fantasizing it before agreeing to peace with Whirl.

Yes, I hate Whirl that much. Although “Dark Cybertron” seems like a good time for me to jump off of IDW’s Transformers, so I will. That means there are now TRANSFORMERS comics I’m not buying. Voltron and He-Man were bad enough, but my #1 favorite fiction? That gives you an idea how disconnected I am with today’s comics. So many aren’t fun anymore and I hate what my childhood is being converted into.

Oh, here’s how I can end the strip. One of my RU friends, and former Internet Spotlight topic John “Comic Strip Critic” Weber was featured in today’s Retail strip, which is a great birthday present. Check out John’s review of Retail here, and congratulations/Happy Birthday to John.
