I’m mostly posting this so I can find and finish it. It’s a long post but there’s some good information here. If you’re a fan you can try and find storyboards of your favorite shows and movies. See if you recognize anything. For cartoonists, however, this is a two-pronged attack. First it demonstrates that getting into drawing storyboards may be a way to go, but also how to use dynamic storyboarding in your comic art. It’s worth checking out, but it’s a long read.

A quick hat tip to Krishna Sadasivam of PC Weenies and Uncubed The Comic. He also has a neat Tumblr called Draw Me A Robot, where the interviews comic artists about their work setup and then has them draw a robot.
