I have a couple interesting rants I could write for today, a new Furman File and a classic video game review that makes me think about some terms used in the video game debate. However, I feel weird ending the free topic days of the first week of the new year with angry ranting, so consider this a preview for next week.
So here’s something interesting. This one comes from the official He-Man YouTube channel where the Christmas Special commentary came from. James Eatock takes a look at an animation test given by Filmation to animators who want to wanted to work on He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe. And he even tries it out himself. And there’s a second trivia video, as this article’s title suggests.
I’m not sure I’d do any better. Just a warning: a curse word slipped out in the credits of the next video.

Look at how his necklace changes and disappears rather quickly. I’ve seen my share of hand drawn animation errors and that’s still worse than some of them.
