I don’t know about you, but I’m not into the term “guilty pleasures”. The only way you should feel guilty about something you enjoy is if it’s illegal or will hurt someone you care about. However, the term usually refers to something you’re embarrassed to enjoy. Why? I fully embrace stuff some of you consider a “guilty pleasure”, which should surprise nobody who’s been reading this site long enough.
“6 Commonly Used Phrases That Make Everyone Hate You” looks into that one, and other fan/media terms like “binge-watch” (which I’ve never heard and thought people still used “marathon”), misusing “-gasm” like they used to “-mania”, and others. Can we stop using them now?
