Raphael and Alopex reach an understanding. Meanwhile. both Splinter and Leonardo are hurting inside as well as out, but Donatello and Michelangelo are hoping to bring their family together…with a little help. And what are April and Casey learning about Stockgen? And who found our group?
What they got right: It seems that ending up at the farm means someone making exposition with their diary. This time it’s Mikey writing to his friend, Woody. It’s just different enough to work. The artist for this issue, Ross Campbell, captures Alophex’s new mood, as she is now confused and alone having lost one family and broken free of a false new one.
What they got wrong: I’m still not a fan of using the new cartoon’s character model design for the Turtles.
Recommendation: I’m still enjoying this series. It’s a good read.
I just like her expression when Raph sneaks up on her like that.
