Saturday Night Showcase: Sabrina The Teenage Witch

We’re winding down our Filmation tribute. I’m sure most everyone knows about Sabrina thanks to the ABC sitcom starring Mellisa Joan Hart, the animated semi-spinoff, and the current cartoon. However, they’re missing an important detail. Namely the Archies. Sabrina The Teenage Witch originally debuted in the comics as part of the Archie gang but having her own adventures as well. Filmation gave Sabrina her own stories both with the Archies and her usual cast. I tried to find an episode with both groups prominent since I don’t think the two casts ever met up. And yet the Archies and Sabrina have both crossed paths with Filmation’s Groovie Goolies, who were said to be Sabrina’s relatives. I chose the best episode I could if I wanted this up in time.
