My biggest problem with Five For Fighting’s Superman song is the part where Superman supposedly hates flying. I prefer the DCAU version, where the ability to fly was something young Clark Kent wanted so badly that learning he could made it easier to accept his alien heritage. I know what they were going for but I have a fear of heights and I wouldn’t mind being able to fly.
Sam and Neko of Corridor Digital decided to show how cool Superman’s flying really is by letting the Man of Steel take out a GoPro camera and take to the skies. You’ve probably already seen this one since it’s been burning up the internet since it posted on Monday. This is more so I can reference it in the future.
The costume seems to be based on the Superman Returns costume, which is why I chose it for the intro image above. This video exploded all over the internet but I waited because I wanted to bring you the behind the scenes, as I tend to do with VFX videos.
Corridor Digital now has a Patreon page. I’m wondering if I should get one of those. I won’t make anything as awesome as they do because my creative goals are in a different direction, but I’m a creative person, right? Right? Anyway, support them if you can.
