Tired of waiting, and after a fight with his brothers, Raphael heads back to New York, where he proceeds to beat down random Foot soldiers in the sewers. When his brothers follow him he has a surprise for them.
What they got right: This is certainly in keeping with Raphael’s attitude. The fights are good for the time and budget and IDW’s coloring brings out the visuals.
What they got wrong: Although I still wish they’d go with the different colored masks so I can tell who is whom. Also, at no point does Raph come off as over his head with the Foot. One guy gets in a lucky shot. Raphael’s fight with Leonardo was more threatening.
Recommendation: A good start to this arc that’s worth giving a look.
