I had trouble sleeping last night, so here’s something I had in reserve.

Hey, remember Kidd Video?

The people you saw in the live-action segments not only performed the voices, but the music videos…with their own singing and instrument playing. In 2012, two of the members, Robbie “Whiz” Rist (who you may also remember as Cousin Oliver on The Brady Bunch) and Gabrielle Rozzi-Nelson, alias Carla, found themselves together at the Redballs Rock and Roll Pizza in Woodland Hills, California (where it appears Rist performs on Fridays and the place appears to have moved since this video was shot), and decided to rock out. (The full sequence of events I’m not privy too.) In this video, they perform a cover of “When Will I Be Loved“.

Now if we could get Steve “Ash” Alterman” and Kidd Video himself, Bryan Scott, to join them in a future reunion. If someone has more video, assuming they sang more than one song separately or together at this place, please put it in the comments. I’m disappointed the quartet didn’t stay together after the show ended, like the Monkees did.
