The Christian Crusader: Plague Of Evil
FINAL ISSUE
CC Comics (September, 1994)
WRITER/ARTIST/CREATOR: John Celestri
Za-Tin uses covet gas hidden in a treasure chest to turn everyone in town greedy. Even the kids, and the Christian Crusader himself, are not immune to the gas without the power of prayer.
What they got right: More devil ninja hijinks, a better spiritual message of the three books, and a just more all-around fun story. While I’ve enjoyed the other two this was my favorite. They also note that money isn’t the problem but greed.
What they got wrong: I wouldn’t mind seeing some more stories but otherwise no complaints.
Recommendation: If you have no interest in faith or if you hate all-ages comics you’re not going to get into these books. Personally I like them and they’re good for Christian kids or kids at heart.
