You’ll see more of Road Ranger up there on this weekend’s Clutter Report (if nothing happens like last week), who is my favorite GoBot toy, although Scooter is my favorite character from the show for the same reasons Bumblebee is my favorite Autobot.
With all the bad news from this year’s WonderCon involving that t-shirt, something cool did come about. For years Transformers have gotten all the love from conventions. This would probably be because toys, comics, cartoons, and movies are still being produced, but also because there are those who love bashing GoBots in the Transformers community. However, Warner Archive isn’t one of them. They recently released the mini-series pilot on “manufacture on demand” (which you can order for yourself here) and now the first set of regular episodes are coming.
To celebrate, Warner Archive put together a panel for WonderCon, hosted by Matthew Patterson and DW Ferranti, who host the Warner Archive podcast. Joining them was series writers Kelly Ward and Alan Burnett (the latter also serving as editor), and the voice of Leader-1 himself, Lou Richards. Unfortunately it’s only audio with no video but I’ll take it. Enjoy.
[UPDATE: May 4th- Thanks to The All-Spark, we do have video to watch. It will be after the audio so you have your preferences.]
As for my love of GoBots, the two videos below will demonstrate why I like them.

The pre-order for the first 30 episodes of Challenge Of The GoBots is available through their website (not yet on Amazon, so no affiliate link for me). I hope to have income again so I can get these and review them (I will accept a gift, though because I really want to continue my defense) but I can already recommend them if the DVDs are as good as the mini-series release was. Give the show another chance, and you might be surprised.
