“Somewhere Of The Rainbow” WRITER: Josh Elder ARTIST: Adam Archer COLORIST: Jan Herring LETTERER: Saida Temofonte EDITOR: Alex AntoneLily and the Phantom Stranger use the globe to travel into Batman’s mind to undo the Psycho Pirate’s control while Wonder Woman and Cyborg deal with the shadow and the controlled Steve Trevor. On Rann, Sinestro gets Maxwell’s notebook but Maxwell gets a deputy Green Lantern ring as the other heroes learn the Weaponers have another tower. The surprising thing, however, is how Batman suggests the heroes escape the satellite.
What they got right: Maxwell gets a Green Lantern ring, which a lot of kids would want, but later uses the notebook to create a “hypersonic philosoraptor”, which is as awesome as it sounds. I also like all the various Bat costumes making an appearance at Psycho Pirate’s show, and a cameo by Ambush Bug. Plus, Hal calls in Mogo and the other good technicolor Lanterns, which leads to this comic’s Best Scene nomination.
What they got wron…. Never mind.
