Last week an article made the rounds that appeared to be taking a improperly researched shot at the That Guy With The Glasses crowd and to a lesser extent those inspired by them. Cracked contributor Winston Roundtree takes a less mean route in examining, from an artist’s perspective but one attempting to be fair to art critics (depending on your view of “art” because I’m not getting into the “are video games art” debate), why some critics are actually doing themselves harm. It’s something for my fellow reviewers, whether in article or video form, to take a look at.
