I create comics that are posted to the world wide web, whether it’s Jake & Leon, Captain PSA, or Captain Yuletide. We usually call that “webcomics”. I even have a subcategory under Internet Spotlight for webcomics. Although sometimes those comics are then published offline in a regular comic book. What’s the difference between the two, though? Webcomic Alliance contributor Byron Wilkins says that there really isn’t but it can be perceived that way. Also, he goes into how to market your comic even when you don’t have the money to advertise.
(Although there IS a difference between Webcomic Alliance and Comic Alliance. Just so we’re all on the same page. 😀 )
