In addition to returning his equipment, Donatello is hoping he can help build the teleportation device so they can invade Burnow Island, although Splinter thinks they need to focus on the Foot. However, Angel finds a robot turtle she names Metalhead…and let’s just say the programming isn’t complete. Let’s hope Harold’s new battlesuit is. Meanwhile, Old Hob is recruiting.
What they got right: It was interesting watching Leonardo and Splinter debating about the two major threats they face. Angel was pretty cool once she had the battlesuit on. She also says she’s nobody (after Harold couldn’t care to remember her name all issue). Could Angel be the Nobody of this universe? I liked both characters in the second animated series and I wouldn’t mind seeing the concepts merged into this character as I like this version of Angel, too.
What they got wrong: And yet there’s part of me that would rather see the original Nobody, the cop seeking justice in an alter-ego, make a comeback.
Recommendation: This is still a darn good series. You should be following it.
