BW On Patreon title card

It’s the only Patreon image in my library. Although the link is in the sidebar. You know, if you want. On the other hand, you could support this week’s promotion. Or both, I’m good with both.

Bah! Enough begging! (Also, who says “bah” anymore? Except for sheep? Or actors performing A Christmas Carol.)

Krishna M. Sadasivam (a name as hard to write as it is to pronounce) has been doing PC Weenies since October of 1998 and has found some decent success. There is only one collection in print right now, but he also does comics for numerous sites and magazines. He also started a project to help businesses make their manuals cooler with comics. This is not the only reason I’m promoting his Patreon.

First some full disclosure. I do know Sadasivan. He used to work on the “Live” edition of Art & Story so I was already aware of his work. I did eventually start following him on Twitter and we’ve had back and forth discussions a few times. Trust me, this series isn’t just shilling for my friends, though. His work is all-ages and fun whether you’re a tech geek or have wondered what goes on at high-tech companies. If you read Dilbert and you have never worked in an office you can follow this. It’s Dilbert for the IT crowd.

Sadasivam has two big loves: his wife and daughter. He made a comic about them, too. But his two big interests are comics and computing. That’s where PC Weenies comes in. In addition to three comics a week he does tech reviews and gives cartooning tips, and sometimes mixes them together by reviewing drawing tablets and software for the computer. So with all this work you may be wondering why you should support him. I’ll let him explain.

I know how he feels, only replace “wife” with “father”. Check out his work in the links above and if you like what you see consider becoming one of his patrons. And I promise the next time I’ll promote someone I don’t really know. Maybe 😀
