The Cybersaur put up a good fight but with its battery not fully charged it’s no match for Godzilla. The Canadian military tries to halt Godzilla, who is now bleeding from the mouth, causing environmental concerns between the blood, the radioactivity, and the poison (which Cameron calls Noriko out on). One of the pilots is also killed so Kino, one of Cybersaur’s designers, takes control after it’s repaired and a fully charged battery is finally installed. This time Godzilla takes the worst of it and an hour later still appears to be dead. Plus Take and Kate confirm their relationship.
What they got right: I have to admit, for a MechaGodzilla knockoff, Cybersaur is pretty good in a fight (although I’m sure the poison is doing more to Godzilla than Cybersaur).
What they got wrong: Fine, Kate’s had a crush on Take since she started researching G-Force. But isn’t Take moving a bit fast? They haven’t had their first date yet and he’s already making out with her.
Recommendation: Next issue teases the first Dark Horse-created monster since the Summer Special (I still haven’t read the color special), but his issue is good on its own. Pick this series up, I’m telling you!
