Since research for last night’s commentary took longer than I would have thought, let me take a breather before I get on with the next commentary. Transformers: Robots In Disguise (mark 2) is not scheduled to air until March, but apparently Australia is getting it early for some reason. Spinning off of Transformers Prime with a lighter tone it looks good to me, but I didn’t get to go to Australia. But Brian Kilby did.
“Who’s Brian Kilby” you ask? He is the host and creator of Radio Free Cybertron a podcast that has existed before the word “podcast” existed, thus referred to as an internet radio show. (Look up “radio free” sometime to get the reference.) I knew him from our alt.toys.transformers days (that usenet group will never stop being referenced, folks) until events drew me away from it. Apparently (there’s that word again) he has a studio in Australia because you need something else to be jealous of, and was able to see the first two episodes of the new Robots In Disguise. Don’t worry, the video below does not contain spoilers. MY review when the series airs probably will. 🙂
