Here’s an interesting one from Cracked contributor David Wong. In the continuing trend of Hollywood either not understanding or not being able to emulate (without boring the audience) the real world: money. Poverty looks better (and we have people in poverty in the US with an iPhone), things don’t cost nearly as much as they do in real life, and even a waitress can go to Italy whenever she wants. Meanwhile I live in my parents’ attic and never made enough money to do more than go to Hartford for three days because I had debts to pay (and one big one left). I want to be poor like the people on TV.
