I was hoping for a commentary but this isn’t my week for this. I’ll do my best to make up for it next week. But at least this isn’t another filler video. Video, yes, but it’s connected to an actual article. Marvel Studios just dropped a trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron that actually gives us some information about the plot of the movie. Until now the only thrilling thing was the Hulkbuster armor. So what is the movie actually about and did the trailer succeed in making us interested in this film?
I’m hoping the Vision reveal isn’t actually the teaser for the next movie or one of the other Cinematic Universe movies. I guess with Hank Pym not yet introduced someone had to build Ultron, and…actually, they stole the “Tony built Ultron” idea from Next Avengers, the direct-to-video movie but I’m okay with that. At least this time it was an experiment gone wrong rather actually building Ultron on purpose and having it go wrong. It’s something different anyway. There’s still no explanation as to why Hulk and Iron Man are fighting around the city but I’m not dropping the possibility that it’s going to be some holographic training room thing.
Overall it does look like it could be a good movie, and the first one was really good. We’ll have until May 1st to find out, so happy speculating every minor detail. That’s what we do now, right?
