Flashing back to a time he saved his dad gives Joe the confidence to push on against the ghost ship. He and Alfin find the Decale-B as well an alien being that merged with the St. Germi and was getting high on the Decale-B. The pirates who were also on board were drawn into the telepathic tale and the captain kills the survivor, and then decide to blow both the St. Germi and the shuttle Ricky used to rescue Joe and Alfin to cosmic debris!

What they got right: The action was pretty good and the idea of a creature merging with a ship and turning it into a ghost spaceship is a neat idea.

What they got wrong: The dialog is still clunky, and the flashback doesn’t really serve a point in the story that simply remembering his dad’s lessons couldn’t have done.

Recommendation: It’s still a good story. I think tomorrow is the final chapter of this story so that will be the ultimate decider.
