On Friday we buried my mother’s ashes. As you can imagine I wasn’t up to making a comic this week. I was trying to make sure the main content came up this week and writing the eulogy. I guess I did the latter well enough because I got praise for it. So I guess I honored my mother’s memory. I actually considered posting it to The Tronix Tumblr but it felt more like me showing off as a writer and this was kind of personal so I opted not to. Still, I did what I wanted to, the last thing I can do for my mother. She’s with her parents now.
Back on the BW front we’re all done with Spidey Super Stories. I’m disappointed, too, but I hope to get more. Tuesday will have actually review a different adaptation, from Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends, before getting to the X-Men toon comics. I suspect there will be purgings there. Wednesday will conclude Gigantor, and next week (which will feature the return of both Jake & Leon and The Clutter Reports) I’ll be announcing a slight change to the double daily comic review lineup. Trust me, it will be cool. I hope, anyway.
