Max means well, and audience participation (what little audience I have) is something I wish happened more here at the Spotlight. On the other hand, I fear some of the suggestions. I’ll still take them as I’m having trouble deciding what they should dress as this year, but I still fear them.
Hey, an actual review over at The Clutter Reports! Now that we’re done with the Firestorm: The Nuclear Man trade it’s time to review the book itself.
Trying to work on a project for my cousin has been taking up time and I’m still trying to figure out how to get my broke self to ConnectiCon this year. So things are still in flux (except for my income, which is still nonexistent). I am hoping to have a short video that wasn’t done in time for the failed anti-debt livestream done for Saturday but who knows? Meanwhile, some new comic reviews are coming. The Batman Adventures are being rechristened The Batman & Robin Adventures and we’ll start that tomorrow, as well as returning to DC in the 90s with Steel’s first issue. Star Wars Droids moves from the cartoon-based Star run to a more movie-connected Dark Horse, but still stars R2 and 3PO searching for masters and having adventures.
Fridays are done with Dodekain but I found that once ALF comic that went missing, so we’ll finally review that before getting into the next series: Issac Asimov’s I-Bots! Based on a concept by the late science fiction author that he was working on before his passing I-Bots is superheroes as written by the master of robotics fiction. I remember enjoying it and it should hopefully still be good now. The Saturday trade review begins its first manga series with one of my favorites, Magic Knights Rayearth, combining cute girls (they’re minors, so that’s NOT what I mean), giant robots, and magic with twists M. Night wishes he could pull off. (Just don’t let him adapt this, or we may get another The Last Airbender!) Well, back to work!
