I know this is where I usually post the other review, but since I want to get all of the ConnectiCon videos together, we have the Friday Night Fights in the afternoon. (It’s nighttime somewhere, right?) It’s still within the rules of the fight, however, and some of my fellow Fighters usually post earlier than I do in keeping with their posting schedules. I’m kind of limited on this one, folks. FNF will return to it’s proper spot next week.
Anyway, we’re talking I-Bots. Thanks to getting over the convention I only had a handful of reviews this week and the comic I reviewed earlier had the best fight of the bunch, so let’s see the I-Bots (or whatever poorly thought out superhero name they stuck them with this time) stop some smugglers.

“Wildcat” round 11
I missed round 10 for ConnectiCon. It’s what the convention does to my schedule but outside of this year’s many technical problems on my end, it’s worth it.
The Battlefield: Isaac Asimov’s I-Bots #4 (Tekno Comics; February, 1996) “Passing For Normal”
The Promoters: Steven Grant (writer), George Perez (penciler for this section), Joseph Rubinstein (inker for this section), Prismacolor (coloring), and Richard Starkings & Comicraft (lettering)
A group of smugglers thought the worst thing they’d have to deal with is the Coast Guard. They didn’t realize this was Tekno’s only superhero comic (unless you count Lady Justice, who will actually factor into this series oddly enough).
Phase two is to board the ship and beat some guys up. This would be Itazura’s favorite part of any plan.
Then the smugglers demonstrate the high-tech weapon (and being that this is the future it’s very high-tech) they’re smuggling on the Coast Guard. Our heroes aren’t too happy about that.
And in my favorite moment of the fight, Psy-4 gets to show up Itazura.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned this, but Psy-4 is my favorite I-Bot.
Head to Spacebooger.com by Sunday night and vote for your favorite Friday Night Fight! (Forum membership is NOT required to vote, only to comment. Also note that since I’m posting early even the place holder won’t be up until 4 PM Eastern Time as usual. It’s just usually up by the time my entry goes live while voting starts at 11 PM ET.) Winners of these 12 rounds head to the Prize Fight so feel free to join in. We could use the competition. Spacebooger posts the rules on Tuesdays.
