Conspiracy theories get “proven” by whatever fiction writer or movie producer decides they believe the conspiracy and set out to prove it. And yet there was no “magic bullet, no moon studio, no free-falling buildings (oh, and don’t forget the damage from the underground bombing attempt in the 90s) and it’s hard to write a suicide note as you get more and more stoned.
