Sure, you love Peter Dinklage on Game Of Thrones but is Tyrion Lannister, or anybody else from that show, somebody you’d want to hang out with? I don’t know anything about True Detective, another show I’ve seen used to make jokes about Sesame Street on HBO, but cable cop shows tend to be more The Shield than Rizzoli & Isles. My mom used to love the latter show but I don’t recall seeing her watch the former.
So I screwed up last week. I thought I had reviewed the final issue of Star Wars: Shadows Of The Empire – Evolution but it wasn’t until late the next day that I found out I hadn’t. So that review will be coming this week, ending the original trilogy time period. Meanwhile, I posted my recent review of the A New Hope adaptation reprint over to The Clutter Reports. We’re also done with Magic Knight Rayearth until I go through the anime (I have season one on DVD and both seasons are up on Hulu subbed and dubbed.) I think this week I’m going to try to complete the Chapter By Chapter of The Black Stallion’s Ghost. I really want to get to the next book and this just isn’t exciting me. There are three chapters left and this will give me time to catch up on video work, and will give me something to review over at The Clutter Reports, where I usually do the wrap-up book report. We’ll then take a break from novel reviewing until September and start the next book.
I also have some new article ideas that I hinted at on Patreon that will help me practice my art and story creating skills so I’m hoping to debut at least one of those this month, as well as pilot a video series that will be easy to throw together when I need it. We’ll see what time allows. Time’s kind of a jerk sometimes.
