Private Eye John Shaft has had a comic or two while his heir had Samuel L. Jackson. However, he’s been out of prose for 40 years. That’s about to change as a new Shaft novel will be coming out along with a new comic, both featuring the original (played in the movies by Richard Roundtree, above back). There’s also a link below discussing a new movie reboot. Will Jackson show up there like Roundtree did for his movie?
