I missed the deadline for this week’s fight, so it may end up being unofficial. Haven’t slept right this week and I’ve had gas and other stuff. Been fun. Watched more Paw Patrol.
So tonight’s fight features a team of would-be (or so they claim) superheroes being shown up by an actually accomplished superhero. Who is a robot. With treads for feet. Prepare for embarrassment!

“Lights Out” round 8
The Battlefield: Isaac Asimov’s I-Bots Vol. 2 #8 (Big Entertainment; January, 1997) “A Bot In A Hard Place”
The Promoters: Cliff Biggers & Brett Brooks (writers), Pat Broderick (artist), Prismacolor (coloring), and Michael A. Palmer (letterer)
Bot-I wanted to investigate these pretenders to the name of the superheroes partially responsible for giving him (for lack of a better term) life. But he goofed up and the new I-Bots are after him. First up, the gravity-altering Heavyweight and the portal-creating Send.
Next up is A-V-N, with heightened senses. Including her sense of sight.
All we need is Gremlin, who can pass through solid objects.
So for their first assignment…kind of weak, guys. Let the little robot save the world. Oh right, you work for Annabelle so odds are that’s not why you were constructed.
Head to Spacebooger.com by Sunday night and vote for your favorite of the eligible Friday Night Fights! (Forum membership is NOT required to vote, only comment.) Winners of these 12 rounds head to the Prize Fight so feel free to join in. We could use the competition. Rules posted on Tuesdays.
