As you’ve notice I’m taking part in the Art Soundoff event, where comic creators talk about what’s on their mind on the creative side of comics, where I usually discuss the finished product of various media. It’s something different and thus far has given me a chance to discuss things I’ve noticed as both creator and critic. However, I’m not the only one taking part. So tonight I thought I would show you some of the other creators taking part in this event.
First we have to start with the two creators behind this event. First off, Jerzy Drozd discusses what he hopes to do with the show as part of his recurring “micro artcast” from the Art & Story days, Thunder Punch Daily.
Rob Stenzinger has his own micro podcast, Polytechnicast, where he also discusses his other work as a video game designer. He puts down his goals for the challenge. You may have to turn up your speakers for this one.
There a podcasting service called Audioboom that I could have used for this but since this is probably the only time I would use it, I went to YouTube instead. Robin White decided to create a whole new show using the service by starting with the Art Soundoff Challenge.
I need to apologize to our next Sounder. I can’t understand her name through the accent and looking at both her Twitter and webcomic didn’t come up with a name to spell. But here is her first episode anyway.
Owen Jollands is a colorist by trade who also works on his own comics.
Miko B. is planning to do this weekly only, so I don’t have an episode to link. I still though it should be noted. And of course you can see mine here at the Spotlight, so you should have already seen my first episode bundled with this week’s Jake & Leon.
