The Sith decide the safe thing to do is kill Gav and Jori, but Naga Shadow plots to trick the Sith into following him by breaking the Daragons out of prison and framing them for the murder of his own teacher. His plan succeeds and Naga is made the new Sith Lord, but Ludo Kressh will have no part of what he believes will destroy the Sith Empire.
What they got right: That murdered teacher used the Dark Side to keep his head alive until Naga shot him. I’m pretty sure that’s the most metal thing a Sith has been depicted doing, but I don’t know what qualifies as “metal”. It’s still impressive for someone powered by hate. Must make sleeping hard, though. Somehow I can handle political messes more in Star Wars than I can Transformers.
What they got wrong: They keep pushing Jori’s leaving the Jedi training. I know this takes place before a later story. Was this retroactive foreshadowing? Because they’re pushing this fact pretty hard.
Recommendation: An interesting look at how the Sith operates, so it’s worth checking out even if it isn’t canon anymore.
