No, not technically Wonder Woman, it’s not some new stupidity by DC Comics. Linda Carter, who played the only proper live-action Wonder Woman (and still looks like she could pull it off), will have a recurring role as the President in the CW continuation of Supergirl. Two thoughts: the cynic in me thinks that this is a pro-Hilary thing since this is Hollywood after all (although female presidents in future stories is nothing new–go check my review of Top Cow’s Battle Of The Planets for one example), and the other is if any kind of President is involved, then Supergirl will be moving up in the world, which I like to see.

Lynda Carter is 64-years-old, but she certainly looks younger! Don’t know if that’s natural or thanks to botox. It’s good to see that entertainers who were very popular in the 1970s are still getting hired for acting gigs.
