This is a hard one for me to review. The summary is just that the Team Titans are trying to control the fallout of space/time and protect people. There’s some crazy time manipulation going on, and although they keep him in shadow you know that’s Monarch involved with all this.
The big problem I had is that the writers seem to be working hard to put all these character into the story and have different groups doing something. And there’s way too many members of this team for that. You have Aqualad, the second not-evil Terra, the Human Mystery, Bird Of Prey (no connection to the all-girls team years later), Bumblebee, the Herald, Metallik (which made of three people in armor fusing into what’s usually a giant robot…I think, Hero X, Battalion, Enforcer, Prester Jon, Lapidus, Killowat, Mirage, Hellebore, Dagon, Flamebird, Murder Master (nice name for a hero)Wonder Boy, Shockadelica (whom never shows up on panel as far as I can tell), and someone named Green who looks like a living Green Lantern construct. And from what I read about this team, most of them as well as this team-up will disappear at the end of Zero Hour, part of the villains’ plans. In other words, this comic is too full of characters and eventually meaningless.
I guess because they play a part in Zero Hour this is a hard one to ignore until I have all the data on this event (and I am missing issues of the event comic itself, which we’ll be getting to soon) but otherwise there is no reason to even bother picking this comic up. It feels kind of pointless and if I turn out to be right somewhere down the road I’ll probably release this from my collection.
