In the other two books Frank Miller wrote where Superman showed up in a Batman story it was one of the worst takes on Superman this side of Man Of Steel. So what does DC decide to do? GIVE HIM A SUPERMAN: YEAR ONE STORY! And that’s after the disastrous All-Star Batman & Robin that shows he’s not able to write those character anymore either. Considering the jerk Miller likes to make Superman out to be giving him an origin story is just such a bad move. We can only hope it isn’t canon in the current DC Universe.
