June 12, 1948 – September 10, 2017
Len Wein was a very important comic creator, responsible for the creation and co-creation of Wolverine, Swamp Thing, and Bruce Wayne’s loyal employee Lucius Fox. Over the weekend Wein passed away, having suffered numerous medical problems although no cause of death has been officially released. He will be missed by family and friends, but also by comic fans who grew up in the Bronze Age.

A truly sad time, indeed. Mr. Wein did a lot for the world of comics. He will be missed.

I admit I haven’t read a lot of his work since he primarily did titles and genres I wasn’t into, but what few stories I have seen were quite good.
