I am not happy about Brian Michael Bendis going on to Superman. Not because I think he’s a bad writer but he’s not the right guy to be given any continuity he didn’t create. This is the guy who altered Luke Cage to fit modern black stereotype tough guys, turned Scarlet Witch insane, and that’s just MY introduction to him outside of the Ultimate universe. He did well there but that was a blank slate. Four Color Media Monitor goes into fuller detail as to why this will not end well for classic Superman fans, red trunks or not.
