I’m not a huge fan of the franchise mind you so I could have missed it, but I haven’t heard of a Pokémon movie hitting theaters in years, at least in the US. But it appears The Power Of Us (as opposed to “The Power Of One”, the subtitle for Pokémon The Move 2000) will get a limited theatrical run.

Are people even playing Pokemon Go like many folks were doing full throttle back in the summer of 2016? Or are they too busy playing Fort Nite now?

The Pokemon franchise is still popular on Nintendo’s handhelds, where it debuted all the way back on the Game Boy. Go is just the mobile app, and yes people still play it.
