We oddly don’t have a day to honor those currently serving in combat or supporting them at the base. We also don’t have a day to honor the families of those who miss or have outright lost loved ones. On the plus side we do honor those who have fallen on Memorial Day and honor those who came home on Veteran’s Day. While getting things ready I almost forgot to post some kind of Veteran’s Day tribute. I have veterans in my family and among my friends, some who fought in war and others who stayed on bases or worked on the fighting man’s equipment so they could actually fight. Thank you to every man and woman who has served the US military and risked everything to protect the freedoms of the rest of us so we wouldn’t have to. We live in a free part of the world every day because of you.
