Nintendo is making a modern remake of the Game Boy Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Nintendo Switch. It has a different visual feel from their hit game Breath Of The Wild, updating the art style of the Game Boy game and looking closer to the Mario games. (Of course this annoys the same crowd who hated the art style of the Wind Waker set of games.) And it’s kind of fitting since Mario enemies actually show up in the original game…sort of kind of. Lockstin from Gnoggin goes over the various cameos in the original game.

I don’t think the art style looks that bad really, especially if it ends up matching the tone of the game. Not having played either version (the Switch version hasn’t come out as of this writing) I couldn’t tell you. You can catch more episodes of Gnoggin on Lockstin’s YouTube channel.
