My love of capes and my fight to preserve them, at least for superheroes for whom capes make sense–even I wouldn’t put the Flash or Iron Man in one, has been well chronicled on this site. Sorry, Edna Mode, but yes capes! I stumbled across this article from Hero Envy goes over what the writer feels is the 10 greatest capes in comics. It does start by going over why capes look good on the right superheroes, so that’s a bonus. Only one villain makes the list but it’s an obvious choice. Oddly Batman doesn’t make #1 but I can’t necessarily argue with the writer on his choice. He makes a good case for it.
