Superman may get heck for sticking with the traditional costume, mostly because of the trunks, but none of the attempts to revamp that look has worked. It’s hard to change something so iconic to the character. You see him and you know instantly it’s Superman. It’s like Iron Man, who has redesigned the look of his armor numerous times and made most of them work.
Comic Drake decided to take a look at some of these awful costume. While I think the Electric Superman costume isn’t too bad under the circumstances it doesn’t really have that iconic look to it. Of course, even the costume changes that tried just never made it work.
