BW’s Morning Article Link: Marvel’s Ancestor Not Owned By Marvel

Marvel has two “parents”, Atlas Comics and Timely Comics. Timely became Atlas and Atlas became Marvel. So then why does Marvel not own the Atlas name and IP? This is another of those confusing rights issues but one that’s kind of sorted itself out without Marvel’s involvement. Maybe they know how Billy Batson fans feel? Yeah, they probably still don’t care.
